The holidays can feel… heavy. Emotionally, socially, logistically. Even the fun stuff can be a lot. Hibiscus is my reminder that a “pause” can be bright, cooling, and honestly kind of gorgeous.
Hibiscus has that tart floral pop, and paired with functional mushrooms like Lion’s Mane (often used to support focus and clarity), it’s the perfect drink for when you want to feel refreshed and sharp, not sluggish.

A Botanical Break Between Events
This is the drink you make when:
- you just came home from one thing,
- you have to be at the next thing in an hour,
- and you need a little “reset” moment in between
Recipe: Hibiscus Bloom
Ingredients:
- 1.5 oz gin (optional)
- ¼ oz simple syrup
- 2 dashes orange bitters
- 4 oz Sēkwl Hibiscus Adaptogenic Sparkling Water
- Garnish: orange peel twist or edible flower
Build:
- Stir gin, bitters, and syrup with ice
- Strain over fresh ice in a rocks glass.
- Top with Sēkwl Hibiscus, stir gently, garnish.
How to Make it NA
Skip gin and bitters if you want:
- 4-6 oz Sēkwl Hibiscus over ice
- A light splash of orange juice for a softer floral-citrus vibe.
- Orange peel twist (non-negotiable — it makes it feel fancy)
